Water Erosion Prediction Project

The version of the WEPP software available for download between May 25 and September 5, 2006 has a problem with the unistaller. If you downloaded WEPP between the above dates and want to uninstall the program follow the steps below:

  • In the directory where WEPP was installed (usually c:/Program Files/usda-ars/wepp) delete the files and subdirectories.
  • Install the current version of WEPP in the same location. This will configure the uninstaller.
  • Uninstall WEPP normally using the Windows Control Panel Add/Remove programs.
