Water Erosion Prediction Project

Each validation dataset contains input files for the WEPP model. To use the data download all the files in a set and then modify the run file to change all the paths to indicate where the files are located. File locations are restricted to DOS format (8 character limit, no spaces in directory or file names). In the WEPP Windows interface the WEPP model is located in the subdirectory wepp under the main installation directory. Simulations can be run by opening a DOS window or NT command shell and using the command:

wepp < sample.run

From the directory where the WEPP model is installed.
